What's involved? Primarily, this is a performance workshop to provide you with ideas and skills to enhance your artistry as a singer. There will be group exercises and one-on-one coaching. In your one-on-one, you can work on your vocal technique or on ways to make your performance a more authentic or unique experience for listeners. Who is this for? Anyone who has been working on songs. You do not have to be at an advanced level or be a professional performer--the workshop addresses all levels. I'll meet you wherever you are. What song to do? You can bring in a song that you wrote or are working on. You can also bring in a song written by someone else. In the latter case, the coaching will address how to not just imitate another artist's performance, but how to bring a personal interpretation to the song. Note: singing is optional and observers are very welcome. Cost: $90 if you register before Feb 15. After Feb 15, the cost is $110 Lunch, coffee, tea is available for $5 (cash upon arrival) Registration is required. To register, please send a $25 deposit to groovecanada@gmail.com
