Rita di Ghent is an award-winning songwriter and vocalist. As a Canada Council Grant recipient Rita has played main stages from coast to coast in Canada and Internationally. Topping college charts, this iconoclast and inventor of a new musical genre has been heralded as one of Canada's most historically significant musical pioneers. Born in Canada and raised in Chicago, Rita returns to her roots in this collaborative project with fellow Hamiltonian, guitarist Brian Legere. When in a trio setting, di Ghent and Legere are joined by drummer Dave Johannesson.
