Initial consultation and lesson or consultation: $130 (75 minutes). Includes a copy of "Vocal Technique for Non-classical Singers"
Subsequent sessions: $110 (60 minutes)
Lesson frequency is up to you. There is no obligation to meet regularly.
Recording production fees (coaching you through the planning of your CD): repertoire selection, musicians and studio bookings, etc.: Please contact.
Recording studio coaching fee (being with you in the studio and being as coach and go-between with the recording staff): $400 half-day or $700 full day.
Location of Rita's Studios:
Both my teaching at York University and my private practice are currently offered on line (via Zoom). Alternatively, you can apply for a residency, which is at my home base in Prince Edward County, Ontario.
RESIDENCIES: Singers will be accommodated in a private suite with separate entrance. The suite contains a bed, couch, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, keyboard. My house is on Picton Harbour surrounded by nature. There are 400 acres of conservation land a 5-minute walk away. Main Street restaurants, pubs, and shops are a 5-minute walk away. Sandbanks Provincial Park is 12 minutes by car. Singers have daily lessons. The rest of the time is spent enjoying our island and practicing. Fee is Canadian $225 per day.
